JOINING THE MOTEL:
Sketch Motel is a collective of fun, energetic and passionate artists who know how much work it takes to do what we do alone and we're looking for illustrators who have the talent and drive that will help add to the group.
Each member of the group has a distinct and unique style from any other member, this prevents artists competing with each other for work and garners an environment where we are all eager and happy to help promote the group. We build cross client promotions for each other through word of mouth, web site linking and split promotional costs (roughly $400/yr).
In addition, the group acts as a virtual community where we can ask each other advice, work on group projects, do shows and chat. Let's admit it, illustration can be a little hermit like at times.
